This story is centered around the unconditional love that a mother has for her daughter. Katie does a great job of incorporating a balance of events that will make the reader laugh and pull at their heart strings.
As a former literacy coach and current K-6 literacy teacher, I love the genuine, soothing, rhyming tone that is beautifully matched with illustrations.
This book would be a wonderful bedtime read aloud for young children!
